On rare occasions, you need to verify yourself first to be able to link your booking to your personal Ryanair account. This saves you time at the airport and gives you full access to the Ryanair website (e.g. for check-in, changing your flights, or adding services).
We recommend linking with your mobile phone, as a photo of your passport or ID card will need to be taken. If you don’t have a personal Ryanair account yet, please create one first on this page.
Let’s get started! First, let's retrieve your booking:
- Go to this page.
- Press Continue until you can fill in your booking details.
- Enter your Booking Reference. It consists of 6 characters and can be found in our ticket email.
- Enter your first and last name exactly as you did when making the booking.
- Press Continue.
You are now ready to link your booking to your personal Ryanair account.
- Press Log In.
- A new screen will open where you can enter your Ryanair login details (again).
- After logging in, return to the previous screen to complete the linking process. Didn’t return automatically? Refresh your web browser (your internet screen) once.
- Always choose the free standard verification (no cost), as Ryanair automatically selects paid speedy verification’, which often doesn’t work.
- Check all the declarations.
- Now, take a photo of your passport or ID card. Working on a laptop or computer? Then select Use Mobile Device and follow the instructions.
- Next, sign with your finger (or mouse).
- Finally, enter your mobile phone number and press Submit.
Ryanair will now process your verification and will send you an email once it is completed. This is often done within a few hours, but can take up to 24 hours. Once you receive this email from Ryanair, you can only view your booking through your personal Ryanair account.
Need help with the verification? Contact Ryanair directly, either via chat or by phone. Ryanair is not allowed to refer you to the travel agent, as we do not have access to the verification process (eg. due to privacy).
