At Ryanair, you are able to check-in online for free from 4 days prior to departure. Online check-in is mandatory. Not checking in online? Then Ryanair will charge additional fees at the airport.
On most flights, you will have to verify yourself before you can check in online. During the verification process, you will link the booking to your personal Ryanair-account, which not only opens online check-in, but also gives you full access to adding services or changing your flights.
Please follow the steps below to start verification. We advise to follow these steps on the website of Ryanair and not via the mobile app:
- Go to this website
- Click on Begin
- Fill out the booking reference as shown in our ticket e-mail.
- Fill out your first and last name
- Click on Continue
- Your must now link the booking to your personal account, registered under your own e-mail address (required by Ryanair)
- You can create your own account by clicking on Signup. A new screen will open. Follow the steps and confirm your account by filling out the code, which will be sent to your e-mail. Already have an account with Ryanair? Please click on login and fill out your login details. After successfully logging in, you will automatically be redirected back to the verification.
- Click on Standard verification (free of charge)
- You will now be guided to make a photo of your ID. Please use your webcam on your laptop or select the option to scan via your mobile phone.
- Make a signature with your mouse or finger.
- Fill out your phone number and finish the verification.
- You are all set!
Ryanair will verify your details within 24 hours and will send an e-mail once all is ready. Only from that moment you can manage your booking in your own account. Can't see your booking after receiving the e-mail from Ryanair? Please click on Find my booking and fill out the booking reference and your own e-mail address, to which you linked the booking during verification.
